Red-handed
Wed, Aug. 13th, 2025 04:27 pmShe closes her eyes
To try and ignore
Crocodile tears soaking flushed cheeks
A metallic taste tainting her tongue
The blood on your hands
One foot stumbling in front another
Someone who learned never to bother (She would’ve found out anyways)
Handprints against flesh don’t mean you’ll be caught red-handed
How hasn’t anyone else noticed?
The blood on your hands
But she’ll always close her eyes
And you’ll walk away unbothered
And we’ll all forget the blood
Or the bruises matching your fingertips
Conclusive endings are overdone so just
End yourself

One foot stumbling in front another
Someone who learned never to bother (She would’ve found out anyways)
